At our holistic dental practice in Round Rock, we use the latest and most technologically advanced equipment. Part of our advanced “toolset” is Sirona’s new CEREC AC unit (as well as the new milling unit). While that may just sound like a fancy way to increase prices, it’s actually much more. Ten years ago, as a new biologic dentist, I began looking at the MSDS (material data safety sheets) for the crowns and filling materials we were using. I was shocked to discover that most of them had the potential to cause cancer! This is why I love using Cerec. We can find out what crown or filling material is safe or least reactive for the patient with a serum compatibility test and then can place the material in our Cerec to assure that the patient receives exactly what is safe for them. There is no middle man that can change the material. It is impossible for a patient or a dentist to look at a dental crown and visually tell what material it is made of. For the most part, they all look the same. It’s like water: it all looks the same but there are varying degrees of purity and safety based on what it is made of and where it is sourced. It’s the same with dental crowns. So what is CEREC? How can CEREC help you, the patient? Why should you choose a CEREC doctor? I’ll try to answer those questions and more, below.

Dental: At TDH, Huggins-Protocol based “dental revisions” are performed according to strict guidelines concerning the specifics of the Huggins Protocol (vitamin C infusions, acupressure, sequential removal based on charge, etc). This protocol was designed to be used: A) in conjunction with all mercury and other toxic base metal (aluminum, nickel, etc.) removal, B) in conjunction with the surgical removal of teeth that have been treated with root canal therapy, and C.) in the surgical treatment or curettage of areas of necrotic bone called cavitation lesions. We also offer biologic, integrative hygiene where no toxic chemicals or products are used in the mouth, and the actual factors that lead to periodontal disease are tracked before diseases ever begin. We use compatible dental materials and compatible surgical grafting materials (platelet-rich fibrin) and perform all of our routine general dental care (fillings, crowns) with the safest possible, most compatible materials commercially available. Neural and Ozone therapy are performed in conjunction with all applicable restorative and/or surgical procedures. All dental work utilizes ozone gas, and all surgical procedures utilize ozone gas and ozone water. No higher level of cleanliness or safe, natural microbial disinfection exists. Pharmaceutical (IV conscious sedation)and non-pharmaceutical options for sedation and anxiety control (homeopathic medicine, CDB oil, etc.) are available. Additionally, most medicines used in the practice are the safest available in the world. For example, homeopathic injectables and other bio-regulatory medicines are routinely incorporated into the patients care to lessen pain and enhance their unique outcomes and results, and have negative side effects many thousand times less than over-the-counter analgesics, like Advil or Tylenol. Neural Therapy: Besides its application for the indication of promoting healthy nervous system function and preventing and/or correcting dysautonomia, Dr. Carpenter can also use Neural Therapy to treat specific problems. There are also some forms of antibiotic-resistant forms of staph and strep that can only be killed with ozone.
