Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I handle a dental emergency in Austin?
If you are experiencing a dental emergency, call our Austin office immediately at (512) 255-3618. We prioritize emergency cases and strive to see patients on the same day to provide pain relief and stabilize the issue using our holistic and gentle approach.
What should I do if a tooth gets knocked out?
Time is critical. Gently rinse the tooth with water (do not scrub the root), and try to place it back in the socket. If that’s not possible, keep the tooth in a small container of milk or saliva and get to our office within 30–60 minutes. We use ozone therapy and biocompatible treatments to increase the chances of saving the natural tooth.
How do you treat an infected or abscessed tooth holistically?
An abscess is a serious infection. Our holistic approach focuses on eliminating the infection without toxic chemicals. We use medical-grade ozone therapy to kill bacteria and pathogens deep within the tissue, paired with biocompatible materials to restore the tooth’s integrity and support your body’s natural immune response.
Is a cracked or chipped tooth a dental emergency?
Yes, because a crack can expose the inner pulp of the tooth to bacteria, leading to infection. We offer CEREC same-day crowns to quickly seal and protect the tooth, preventing the need for more invasive procedures like root canals while ensuring the materials used are safe for your body.
Do you offer emergency dental services for children?
Yes. We provide gentle, calming emergency care for children in the Austin area. Whether it’s a sports injury or a sudden toothache, our team is trained to handle pediatric emergencies with a non-toxic, "no-scare" philosophy to get your child back to health quickly.
